Melt together with the landscape during a mountain bike holiday in the Dolomites

A bike holiday in South Tyrol is always something special – especially in the Dolomites. The power that you spend on riding flows back by itself from our incomparable nature and inspires you to peak performances. The varied terrain profile in Villnöss leads you through gentle river plains through dense forests, over idyllic pastures, passing by bizarre rock formations and – depending on the condition – on peaks with breathtaking views. Mountain bike holidays in the Dolomites, this means: varied mountain bike trails of all difficulty levels and landscape forms, for pleasure cyclists as well as for ambitious sportsmen, for couples, families and all bikers who appreciate the inspiring group experience on the mountain.

Enjoy a holiday in the world natural heritage of the Dolomites

A wealth of exciting mountain bike trails in the region

From the abundance of our mountain bike trails in Villnöss we would like to highlight a few of them: The Villnösser Jochrunde (about 27 km / 1,040 elevation gain) and the Aferer Talrunde (34 km / 1,540 elevation gain) start and end in St. Peter. The dreamlike trails lead over passes and through the valleys in our neighborhood – two ideal routes to explore the holiday region during the bike holiday. A little further to the east, the Ranui tour takes you to the Gampenalm and over to the Geiseralm (21 km / 1.060 elevation gain). From the parking lot Schwarzau near Ranui, you can also start for a Villnöss pastures tour, which leads you  along 16 km, covering a difference in height of 980 to huts and beautiful viewpoints – perfect for an excursion with the family. The ascent of the mountain at the foot of the Geisler peaks is short with 8,5 km, but it has a lot to offer: The 4 km long path is a continuous ascent till the final destination and also demands a lot of endurance from experienced bikers. The visual highlights of the landscape along the trail are an incomparable gain!

Relaxed cycling holiday in South Tyrol on the e-bike

Those who would like to take it more relaxed during a bike holiday, should rely on the e-bike, which doubles the natural pleasure with reduced effort. The electrical support is fully up-to-date. With the e-bike, long distances are not a problem for more ardent bikers and ascents make fun. In the end, the only thing that counts is the joy of the experience – and you can finally have it without a muscle ache the next evening!
