Holiday in the Dolomites

Come to the Dolomites for climbing!

Is there a better place for alpine climbing in South Tyrol than in the homeland of Reinhold Messner? The answer you have quickly found in your climbing holiday in Villnöss: where the mountaineer legend practiced in his youth, you will find unique destinations for climbing tours of all levels of difficulty, very attractive via ferrata and climbing gardens, imposing walls and breathtakingly beautiful peaks. As our hotel guest you are climbing in the Dolomites very close to the so called “pale mountains”, which you can admire from your room in all their splendour.

Enjoy a holiday in the world natural heritage of the Dolomites

Many individual climbing tours for your climbing holiday

Mountaineers will be attracted on the Tullen (2,652 m), into the Geisler Ronda around the Geisler Massif or on the Peitlerkofel (2,875 m), a true king of the Dolomites. For climbing you can choose via ferrata like the “Günther-Messner-Steig”  through the Aferer Geisler, which is suitable also for beginners or our climbing gardens. At the bottom of the Peitlerkofel lies the climbing garden “Würzjoch” with about 50 routes with difficulty level from 4 to 8b. The “Zanseralm” climbing garden is located along the Adolf-Munkel-path below the Furchetta north wall. At an altitude of 1,950 m, it also offers about 50 routes for climbing tours with difficulty level from 3 to 8a and is child-friendly.

Today a high-ropes course, tomorrow the mountain run

Climbing in the Dolomites must be funny! Therefore, you should also visit the high-ropes course in Villnöss during your climbing holiday with your children. The exciting forest trails with refined rope constructions, suspension beams and swing bridges run at the foot of the Geisler group and offer you an overwhelming panorama view. If you want to have a break for your hands, then you can make a mountain run in Villnöss valley. We have many walks like the Sunnseiten or the Lippmös tour from St. Magdalena, on which you come in powerful contact with our mountains.
